Results

  1. in morning, I13521 had distinct pink colonies, and J04450 plates had large white colonies. Still no growth on (-)ctrl. These results were confirmed on younger plates that george spread yesterday. All positive colonies should be red, but we'll continue with miniprep etc. to see if plasmid may be present but not expressed immediately for some reason...
  2. Moved I13521 plate to fridge to stall growth and preserve distinct colonies.

Tasks

  1. Streak new selective plates with colonies from each plate to confirm antibiotic resistance.
  2. Inoculate selective broth cultures (5ml) with same picked colonies for overnight cultures and miniprep in the morning.
