For iGEM 2009 we will are opening up an experimental track for individuals or small teams that are interested in participating in iGEM in a limited capacity. These non-competition teams will have a chance to present a flash 5-minute presentation and present a poster at an exposition section of the iGEM 2009 Jamboree on October 30 - November 2, 2009. If you are interested in participating in the experimental track for iGEM 2009, send an email to iGEM HQ with the subject iGEM 2009 Experimental track.
In your email be sure to include:
- University or educational institution you are affiliated with.
- iGEM 2009 team you are affiliated with (if applicable).
- The kind of project you will be working on.
- Number of people on your team.
iGEM HQ will be evaluating requests to participate on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements
Teams participating in the iGEM 2009 experimental track must:
- Be affiliated with a university or educational institution.
- Have at least one faculty instructor.
Fees for Experimental Track Teams
Non-competition teams will be required to pay a team registration fee and any Jamboree attendance fees.
DNA Distribution
Distribution of DNA to non-competition teams will be determined on a case by case basis.
