If a team member or particular team has/have registered for the event and is/are unable to attend due to illness, the [[Jamboree/Attendance fee | Jamboree attendance fee]] refund policy is still applicable.

If there is a worldwide restriction on international travel and the majority of teams registered are not able to attend the Jamboree, iGEM Headquarters will make an official announcement as to whether or not the event will be held as planned.

If the Jamboree cannot be held as planned, iGEM Headquarters will host an internet-style Jamboree.  Should this be the case, details will be provided at a later date.  But, teams should be prepared with posters and presentations that will either be uploaded or web cast.  We will make sure that the judging still occurs in the best way possible.
