Here are the actual data and controls for the brake we describe on the previous page. For each strain at least 3 movies were taken on different days (total of 60-200 cells). After tracking, the average speed and standard deviation for each strain was measured and a student's t-test performed to test whether differences were significant.

Speed of movement. Dictyostelium cells expressing the negative feedback element PTEN-RasCda move significantly (p<0.0001) slower than wildtype (Ax2). Control strains expressing localization (PTEN) or catalytic (RasC da) domains only show no significant effect.
