Our project
Welcome to Wiki page of Tokyo_Tech 2009 iGEM team. In our team, there are four instructors, thirteen students and two advisors. We are attending the iGEM2009 from Suzukakedai Tokyo. The Tokyo-Tech iGEM team are planning to Terraform Mars with bacteria. We hope you to check it out in more detail.
Introduction
Our project goal is Terraforming of Mars. To achieve this goal, we propose 4 approaches.
- Blackened E.coli for controlling Mars temperature.
- Iron-oxidizing bacteria to get energy.
- Anti freeze protein against freezing stress .
- Consortium among multiple bacteria.
For more detail, please go to Terraforming of Mars.
