The software package includes:
- MATLAB®
- Bioinformatics Toolbox™
- Curve Fitting Toolbox
- Genetic Algorithm and Direct Search Toolbox™
- Optimization Toolbox™
- SimBiology®
- Statistics Toolbox™
- Symbolic Math Toolbox
For more information and to request a MATLAB license see the [http://www.mathworks.com/programs/igem/index.html Mathworks iGEM 2009 page].
SimBiology Webinar
The Mathworks has also created a SimBiology webinar to introduce teams to SimBiology, a MATLAB based tool for modeling, simulating, and analyzing biochemical pathways.
Topics to be covered in the webinar include:
- SimBiology’s graphical and programmatic interfaces for model creation
- Built-in simulation and analysis functionality which include:
- Data-fitting and parameter estimation
- Sensitivity analysis and parameter scans
- ODE/DAE & Stochastic solvers
- Advanced analysis via custom analysis tasks written in MATLAB
- Customized report generation to capture your modeling workflow
A Q&A session will follow the presentation and demos.
Date: Friday, April, 24, 2009
Time: 11:00am (EDT), 8:00am (EDT)
