Why?

The UNC iGem team is comprised of motivated students of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In order to compete in the iGem competition, students work toward a synthetic biology project using existing and novel DNA parts. Project work requires lab equipment and ware, which is provided through sponsorship. Additionally, students will be attending the iGem Jamboree in October to showcase their project.
