Our project
Welcome to Wiki page of Tokyo_Tech 2009 iGEM team. In our team, there are three instructors, fourteen students and two advisors. We are attending the iGEM2009 from Suzukakedai Tokyo. The Tokyo-Tech iGEM team are planning to Terraform the Mars. We hope you to check them out in more detail.

Introduction
- Terraforming of Mars wtih E.coli
Terraforming is to transfer the environment of another planet. Our goal is to change the environment of Mars into one where more life can live. The gif movie shows the imagination of our idea.
The goal of this project is to terraform the Mars. To achieve this, we propose five de novo mechanisms.
- First, against freezing stress using a Anti Freeze Protein.
- Second, regulation of overspin and backspin of the glycolytic system.
- Third, black body using a tyrosinase.
- Fourth, sensing the light to control the E.coli according to the environment.
- Fifth, constructing cell-cell communication system.
