  • Hsiao-Ching Lee
  • received the B.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Life Science at National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. in 1999 and 2005 respectively.
  • From 2005 to 2007, she worked as a postdoctoral research position at National Tsing Hua University. She is now an Assistant Professor with the Department of Biological Science and Technology at National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C.
  • Her current research interests include molecular biology, synthetic biology and bioinformatics.

  • I’m 20 years old, I’m a student member of Formosa- NCTU, and I majored in Degree Program of Nano Science and Engineering.
  • My interest is putting genetic circuits to work to solve problems such as pharmacology or medicine. I hope it could release the pain from the patients. This is the main reason I joined Formosa-NCTU. I hope I could make a lot of friends with same interest, and learn from them.
  • My hobby is playing golf, any friends with same hobby would be pleased to discuss the skills of golf with me.

  • Before the project, I researched in tolerance of Escherichia coli and cellulose degradation. I am glad to join this project with my teammates. Since we came from different background, we were able to contribute various perspectives and to work more efficiently.
