Our project goal is to develop a plant chassis of parts that will be submitted to the iGEM Standard Registry of Parts. We will we be working with the plant Arabadopsis thaliana in order to develop these parts. The primary portion of our project will be submitting the parts necessary in order to carry out the genetic transformation of a plant, such as an agrobacterium plasmid that confers to the standards of the IGEM registry. This portion of our project will then be treated as a platform which we will use to develop various secondary plant transformation projects. |  |
