Hi, my name is Bing Xia and I'm a member of the 2009 Berkeley Software team, and a member of the 2008 Berkeley Wetlab team. I will going into my fourth year at UC Berkeley this fall, where I'm an applied math/cs/mcb triple major. My research interests mainly fall in the field of computational biology, but I am also interested in synthetic biology. Some of my non-academic activities include running, classical piano, and taekwondo. I also enjoy playing computer games (mainly RTS and RPGs) and experimenting with origami.
