September was a very eventful and hectic month!!
The constructs that were ordered from GeneArt arrived. That means we could start with making our final constructs and testing them. The silver stuff has not made any progress. We were not able to reproduce the paper and hence had to look for alternative protocols. We talked to eugene and got some interesting insight into the silver stuff.. so we will work on some new protocols.

The vesicle stuff looks quite promising, the vesicle guys are able to make the vesicles at a consistent speed and of a homogeneous size. we also have some really amazing videos of the vesicles being created.
