Today I performed a test transformation on the electrocompetent DH5alpha bacteria with puc19. The bacteria did not spark during electroporation with 2000 V and 25 microF. The transformation will be checked tomorrow to see if it worked. I also made an overnight culture of bacteria in case we need to make another batch. -EK
