* The Non-traditional team option is for those who wish to participate in iGEM on an individual basis either in a wetlab/experimental capacity or in a software tools role.  This first year is a trial run to extend the iGEM and Jamboree experience to participants who otherwise cannot take part in iGEM in a traditional role on a team.  Participants in this category will be required to apply, be accepted, and register just as traditional iGEM teams do.  A registration fee does apply ($500 USD), as does the normal Jamboree attendance fee ($400 USD).  Each participant will be given to opportunity to give a 5-minute presentation as well as to present their work on a poster during the Jamboree.

  • The Non-traditional team option is for those who wish to participate in iGEM on an individual basis either in a wetlab/experimental capacity or in a software tools role.
