July 28th

- Today we have prepared the SD medium lacking Leu that we need for the yeast experiment. We have 500 ml of solid medium and 500 ml of liquid medium. That should be more than enough for all the summer. The components of the medium are:

0.5% (NH4)2SO4

0.17% Yeast Synthetic Drop-Out Medium Supplement Without Leucine

2% Glucose

1'5% Agar (only for the solid medium)

July 2nd

- We prepared our first SD medium.
