TBE Buffer

0.5x TBE Buffer
- 54g Tris base
- 27.5g boric acid
- 20mL 0.5M EDTA (pH 8.0)
- dH2O
First, prepare a concentrated 5x stock solution of TBE buffer. To do this, dissolve Tris base and boric acid in 900mL of deionized water. Add the EDTA, and adjust the volume to 1L by adding deionized water. To make the 0.5x TBE working buffer, add 9 parts of deionized water to 1 part of 5x TBE buffer.
