You can use this to mark something as TODO. It has one optional parameter and can be used as follows (assuming a style sheet is used to color all items with class todo red): 

{{todo}} Something I've been meaning to finish.
...
{{todo|Something I've been meaning to finish.}}

With the result: 

TODO Something I've been meaning to finish.
...
Something I've been meaning to finish.
