M9 Minimal Media
  • 750 ml Sterile H2O
  • 200ml Sterile 5x M9 salts
    • 1 liter of H2O
    • 64 grams Na2HPO4*7H2O
    • 15 grams KH2PO4
    • 2.5 grams NaCl
    • 5.0 grams NH4Cl

Add all the salts into H2O and autoclave solution

  • 2 ml of Sterile 1 M MgSO4
  • 20 ml Sterile 20% glycerol solution
  • 0.1 ml Sterile 1 M CaCl2

Add all the parts of media together in a sterile environment. Add additional sterile H2O until the final volume of medium is 980 ml.
