In this section 2 models from literature have been discussed:
- Kompala et al
- Cybernetic growth model that introduces the effects of competition between substrates and relates enzyme synthesis rates to growth of the biomass.
- Zhao Lu et al
- Model describing lactose metabolism, in principle we can generalize the definitions to include other secondary carbon sources.
