Making Tetracycline (Tet) Stock = 100x (Meaning use 1ul of Tet Stock for Every 1ml of Medium) → [50mg/ml]

• Making 10 of 1ml aliquots 1. 0.125g of Tet (Prevent it from light exposure) 2. 10ml 50% Ethanol o 5ml 100% EtOH o 5ml ddH2O ➢ Mix the solution until the Tet is completely dissolved (It SHOULD NOT sink to the bottom of the tube because the solution must be homogenous). ➢ Aliquot into 1ml microcentrifuge tubes and store in -20oC. • Tet solution will not freeze in the -20oC freezer because it contains EtOH.
