Pharmaceutical Engineering is a new interdiscipline in School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of Tianjin University, on the basis of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemistry and engineering. It is an engineering and technical science, mainly to solve problems of the drug production process and implement of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), to achieve mass production and standardization management of drug production. This major is aimed at cultivating hi-tech experts who have a solid foundation, with not only professional knowledge but also certain management knowledge. They receive the basic training as an pharmaceutical engineer, at the same time keep up with the new trend of the pharmaceutical frontier.
