Growth of the Z. Mobilis was observed. Only one kind of organism was detected under the microscope but if it is the desired Z. Mobilis remains unclear. If the PCR works tomorrow we can be sure that it is Z. Mobilis sp. mobilis (Z6).

Ethanol survival

Measure OD 12:00 Flask shows growth in 0, 1, 2, 4% and weak growth in 8%

Plate is dried out, experiment dicontinued. Conclusion, it is not possible to grow Synecocystis during prolonged periods -days- in a 96-well plate.

Measure OD 15.30 Same as above
