Calin : I am from Canada and I see synthetic biology as a great way to learn how nature does nanofabrication. Outside the lab I am usually traveling, climbing, or running on a track or pitch.

Daniel : I am from Mexico....

Saeed : I am from Netherlands. At the moment I'm Msc student Life Science&Technology. At the background of my picture, you can see the Dutch parliament building. I'm also very interested in politics and the contribution which scientists can have to politics and informing the public. In my opinion Synthetic Biology gains us a lot of new options and makes genetic engineering much easier, I'm looking forward to the day on which Synthetic Biology becomes the standardised method of genetic engineering. I'm hoping to become a useful scientist and politician.'

Sriram : I am from India. I like engineering both living cells and software. Apart from iGEM, I like cycling through country-side, playing cricket and recently "paint-ball wars".

Tim Vos : I am from the Netherlands, and like to look at ethical concerns in synthetic biology. Boston better be ready for when this dutch team comes over.

Tim W. : I am from Netherlands. I like cooking, hiking and traveling. For my Bachelor degree I have studied Life Science and Technology. I am very interested in Synthetic Biology and would like to continue studying it.
