YeastGuard - Selection of Biobricks

- Today we chose 7 biobricks to the yeastguard project. We recovered and resuspended them.

- We transformed the biobricks into E. coli DH10B competent cells and plated on Kan or Amp plates, according to information from registry page.

- Prayed to find colonies tomorrow. =)

- Chosen Biobricks: BBa_J63005, BBa_J63003, BBa_J63002, BBa_E2030, BBa_E2020, BBa_J04630 and BBa_J63010.

YeastGuard - RNA Extraction

- Today we performed RNA extration from yeast Kluyveromyces lactis according to protocol 6 (see protocol section).
