Primer design
During the week from July 20th to 25th we designed all primers that we´re going to use in our ptoject. All the sequences are showed on July 25th notebook.
Coliguard: R Plasmid Mini-Preps
Once we sucessfully recover the F plasmid, we now start the recovery procedure for the R plasmid. We will need this plasmid purified in order to isolate the FinO and FinP sequences (both related to the inhibition of the conjugative process).
We performed mini-preps from R plasmid-containing cultures, according to protocol nº2 (see protocols section).
As we did for F plasmid, we were also able to recover the R plasmid.
