Recovering the Biobricks

Today we resuspended the 7 biobricks of the yeastguard project.

We transformed the biobricks into E. coli DH10B competent cells and plated on Kan or Amp plates, according to information from registry page.

Prayed to find colonies tomorrow. =)

RNA Extraction

Today we performed RNA extration from yeast Kluyveromyces lactis according to Protocol 6 (see protocols section).
