YeastGuard

Recovering the Biobricks

  • Today we resuspended the 7 biobricks of the Yeastguard subproject.
  • We transformed the biobricks into E. coli DH10B competent cells and plated on Kan or Amp plates, according to information from registry page.
  • Prayed to find colonies tomorrow. =)

RNA Extraction

  • Today we performed RNA extration from yeast Kluyveromyces lactis according to Protocol 6.
