YeastGuard: recovering the Biobricks

- Today we resuspended the 7 biobricks of the yeastguard project.

- We transformed the biobricks into E. coli DH10B competent cells and plated on Kan or Amp plates, according to information from registry page.

- Prayed to find colonies tomorrow. =)

YeastGuard: RNA Extraction

- Today we performed RNA extration from yeast Kluyveromyces lactis according to protocol 6 (see protocol section).
