Project Aims

 

 

 

 

  • To exploit the quorum sensing process and engineer specific plasmids within bacterial cells to achieve the ‘Game of Life’ and ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors’ interactions.

  • To develop simulations that predict the spatio-temporal behaviour in systems with complex interactions.

  • To address the issue of science communication by hosting outreach events for senior-school and sixth-form students, and information evenings for local members of parliament.
